California Supreme Court Chief Justice Tani Cantial-Sakauye said this week that while the court is still evaluating the state's bar exam cut score (and is currently awaiting results from some studies), there are no immediate plans to change it, according to Cheryl Miller of The Recorder.
California's cut score is the second-highest in the country, and the most recent pass rate was the lowest in 67 years (40.7 %).
So, don't bank on any help from a changed cut score ... yet.
